Why Aberdeen Could Win
Aberdeen are coming off a shock defeat to a snowy St. Mirren. Despite dominating possession, they struggled to create against a physical St. Mirren side and conceded two soft goals. Their 20-game unbeaten run is over, and their star striker, Papa Gueye, is injured for this one.
We still can’t wrap my head around why the odds are so high. Hibs are rock bottom, their keeper is as shaky as a house of cards, and they were thrashed 4-1 by Dundee last weekend. Hibs have made more errors leading to shots and goals than any other team in the league and have only won one home game all season.
Why Hibs Could Draw/Win
Aberdeen got their butts kicked by St. Mirren. It might have knocked the wind out of their sails. We’ll have to see if they can bounce back from this.
Our Prediction
Aberdeen thrashed Hibs 4-0 last time they met (even though it was last season). Now, they have a golden opportunity to get back to winning ways and keep pace with Celtic at the top of the league.
